My work addresses the ambiguity of memory, with reactions to grief due to time. The best things I have in life are my memories. By tapping into the "primitive edge," a mode driven by sensory stimuli, characterized by chaos, fragmentation, and dissolution of boundaries to the transformation of chaos and destructive into aesthetic order and form. I work through layers and transparencies, vulnerability, and shared experience. Humor also plays a role in my work, as I examine the paradox of comedy and its relationship to tragedy.
